About the Builder - Jake Dornford

 
 

Director and founder, Jake Dornford has been in the building industry for more than a decade. Jake has a great passion for the building industry and an even greater passion for providing clients with high-quality work, on time, honestly, and on budget.

It was this passion that sparked the desire Jake had to open his own building company. He wanted to be able to provide people with beautiful homes that they loved, showcasing their personalities, and sense of style. Out of that desire, Dornford Building Group was founded.

The company first began as JD Building Works and specialised in outdoor living areas, bathroom renovations, and various other home renewal projects. As the company grew and expanded into larger construction projects, Jake decided to rename the company Dornford Building Group - a new name to symbolise the new chapter of the company’s building journey.
